Residents are advised that the Mobile Library will not be visiting Parham on Wednesday 24th  June.

The library service has contacted us to explain that, with temperatures forecast to reach 35°C and above, it will be too hot for both staff and customers to safely use the mobile library. Even in moderate weather the inside of the vehicle becomes very warm, so they have taken the precaution of cancelling all visits in our area for the day.

The library team will try to contact as many regular users as possible, but they have asked for our help in spreading the word locally so that no one is left waiting outside in the heat expecting the library to arrive.

The next scheduled visit to Parham will be on Wednesday 22nd July.
